About Us

We are an independent local business based in Chippenham, Wiltshire, established in 1990 in a cellar in the town centre.
In 1995 we moved to the Causeway, a few moments walk from the town centre, just outside the Upper Market Place.
There is on-street parking opposite and in the Market Place.

Our framing business is carried out in our own workshop on the premises.
You can come in and see the frames being made.

All our bespoke framing begins with a consultation on the work to be undertaken and agreement on what will be carried out. With the customer we can choose from over 400 frame mouldings and about 100 mountboard colours in order to present and preserve the framed items. We use whitecore mountboards, and fit an acid-free backsheet as standard to protect your artwork.

We also offer conservation and museum standard framing. We work regularly for conservators and museums. We use conservation grade tape to attach artwork to the mount backsheet. Drafting tape is never used.
All frames are sealed with high quality brown paper tape.

We specialise in framing textiles and one of our framers has a C&G Higher Diploma in textiles. So we can advise you on framing your textile whether it is a cross-stitch or free embroidery, a batik or a shirt or dress.

Our normal delivery period is 2 weeks. We can of course carry out work much more quickly if the materials are available.

We are happy to answer questions on any aspect of framing or to give you a quote.
